The short version: Flashcard Flurry has no app accounts, advertising, behavioral analytics, or application database. Your decks and study activity stay in local browser storage unless you choose to export, back up, share, or submit them through an external service.
Information stored by the app
Flashcard Flurry stores profiles, decks, cards, formatting, review flags, preferences, deck order, and saved study positions in your browser’s local storage. This information remains associated with the browser and website address on the device where you use the app.
Profiles are organizational spaces, not private accounts. They have no passwords or access controls, so anyone using the same browser can switch profiles and read the decks stored in them.
Information the app does not collect
- No account, username, password, or sign-in information.
- No advertising identifier or behavioral tracking.
- No application analytics about your decks or study activity.
- No cloud copy of your cards maintained by the application developer.
Imports and document processing
Supported Word, CSV, text, and JSON files are processed in your browser. Their contents are not uploaded to an application server.
Exports, sharing, and backups
Deck exports and full backups are created locally as readable, unencrypted JSON files. Ordinary deck exports contain the deck name, questions, and answers. Full backups include profiles, internal identifiers, flags, preferences, deck order, and saved study positions.
A file leaves the app only when you choose a destination through your browser or operating system. Flashcard Flurry cannot see where you save or send it. Store and share exported files carefully, especially full backups.
Website hosting
The public website and application files are delivered through GitHub Pages. GitHub and the network services used to reach the site may process standard request information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser details, and timestamps under their own policies. Flashcard Flurry does not add application analytics or tracking scripts.
The public website stores a non-content theme preference in local storage. It may also use session storage to remember that you intentionally opened the public website from an installed app. These values do not contain decks, cards, or study activity.
External links and support
Support and feedback links open GitHub. GitHub sign-in may be required, and an issue you submit may be public. Do not attach private decks or full backups to a public issue. Information you submit is governed by GitHub’s policies.
Other links, including the companion Analog Math Clock website, open external sites governed by their own policies. Following an external link is always user initiated.
Deleting your information
You can delete individual cards, decks, or profiles from the app. Removing Flashcard Flurry site data from the browser deletes locally stored app data on that browser. It cannot delete backup or deck-export files already saved, shared, attached to messages, or copied to cloud storage.
Before clearing browser storage or uninstalling, create a full backup if you may need the data later, then protect or delete that backup separately as appropriate.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the application’s behavior or supporting services change. The revision date at the top identifies the current version.
